Payment Process
To keep costs down for everyone we automate as much as possible.
How to Pay
As a policy consistent with this goal we only accept monthly recurring credit card payments set to charge on the 1st of every calendar month.
If a VA starts during mid-month the initial payment will be charged no later than the start date and pro-rated for the month. Thereafter the card will be set to recurring payments on the 1st of every month.
Late Payments and Declined Credit Card Transactions
Late payments make us feel unloved…
Should payment not be received as normal on the above recurring schedule, there will be a service charge consistent with the following schedule:
- Late payments received after the 5th of the month will be subject to a 5% service charge.
- Late payments received after the 10th of the month will be subject to a 10% service charge.
- Late payments received after the 15th of the month will be subject to a 15% service charge.
- Late payments received after the 20th of the month will be subject to a 20% service charge.
If payments are consistently late or exceed the 15th of the month the Smart VA Staffing Agency reserves the right to re-deploy the VA.
